70+1 History
Northern Ghana is made up of five regions . These are Upper West (WA), Upper East (Bolgatanga), North East (Naleregu), Savannah region (Damongo) and the Northern region (Tamale). The area has a population of about 5,819,329 million and has about 100 tribes and ethnic groups which include Dagomba, Nanumba, Mamprusi, Gonja, etc. , it is a fact that the church is the second highest provider of health care after the government about 40% also leading in the establishment of educational institutions. We believe that cross cultural missions to Northern Ghana will be key to the holistic transformation of the North.
After about a decade of cross cultural missions work across Africa. 70+1 was birth to facilitate the transformation of Northern Ghana and eventually the sending through cross cultural missions trips, humanitarian work & cultural excursions.
