TRAVEL FOR HUMANITARIAN WORK
The communities in Northern Ghana are the least reached compared to other regions in the country. with lesser access to health facilities, educational resources, the gospel and job opportunities. The lack of investment and development in these areas has perpetuated poverty and deprived the people of the region.
Adult education
There is a great need in Northern Ghana where illiteracy is about 70 percent. which limits development in the region and understanding of the Bible. By lending your time and expertise, you can empower these individuals enabling them to improve their quality of life. Your efforts can make a profound difference, help bridge the literacy gap in northern Ghana.
Teaching farming practices
Due to climate change, soil degradation and other environmental factors, traditional farming methods are no longer sustainable. Education and training programs will empower farmers with the knowledge and skills necessary to adopt sustainable practices Improving farming practices will provide food security, boost income and reduce poverty in the region. and ensure a better future for their families and communities.
Cross cultural missions
Northern Ghana is an area that is in great need of outside help especially due to the fact they have not had a lot of Christian presence. However, the opportunity for change is tremendous. By volunteering for missions in Northern Ghana, you can make a real difference in the lives of these people with Bible studies, House to house outreaches and school outreaches. It is an opportunity that should not be missed.
